Re: What does a snake want in a cage, not this.
I woke up this morning and looked into my cage to see that my snake had crawled up the side around the thermometer. This would have been fine except the sticky pads that hold it up started to come off the cage and onto my snake!! It was stuck there. It had a pad right under its head, and over its vent. I had to peel them off! I know it couldn't of felt good but I didn't do any real damage. As soon as I put him back into the cage he immediatly balled up, which up an till this point I had never seen him do. Has this happend to anyone else? Is there a better way to get the sticky pads off? The skin up by his head looked kind of wrinkled is he going to be ok. I mean I know they can stretch alot when eating. God I dont know who that was more stressful for me or the snake. The whole time I was trying to get the pads off I was trying to talk to it. I feel so bad. I just hope he is ok.
