I took a little cotton round and dabbed it in water and betadine and very lightly gave the spot a little dab. well I'm glad he's getting better! or she, whatever gender your BEL is. anyways it's a good idea to take them to the vet, but keep an eye on it, if it starts getting worse and not any better in 2-3 weeks then you might have to take them in, waiting a full month if it starts getting worse and you ignore it until a month has passed can be dangerous, though I doubt you would do that! hope your snake gets well soon!

Sounds good to me. I'm glad he wasn't doing the 'eww get away thing. I hope it goes away soon. Your temps and everything sounds perfect, so I see no harm in that. Good luck! :P
