It’s nice to know I’m not alone. 😀

LOL. You are not alone EL! I've done it with a fish tank (including a 240 gallon), but never with a reptile. Not that I haven't done silly things, but I've been lucky. Better to be lucky than good!
Thank you sharing EL. Takes a big person to laugh at and share their mistakes so others can learn.
I guess the worst I've done is started misting a tank with F10SC (clearly labeled but next to the also clearly labeled water bottle). That was an easy fix as I use paper substrate, but still, felt pretty dumb.

Glad your snake was ok.
Fish tanks are the worst man! I don't even want to admit how many times I've almost flooded my living room and we just have a 45 gallon. I always thought those python changing systems were saving my back from carrying buckets, but I never almost destroyed my floor with a bucket either

Im bad at keeping myself on task... I have to do one thing at a time or I do everything 1/2 way of wrong hahahaha
Ive done this before when they are in the Bath and also left glass enclosures cracked to lower humidity when ive just cleaned them.. i end up checking them a few times scared i forgot to close them lol.
