Honestly, it has always been a passion of mine, and even though reptiles aren't my parents favorite, they are the ones that guided me towards a passion for animals. One of my earliest memories of reptiles is catching a California Mountain Kingsnake. It was so beautiful I couldn't believe it. I couldn't understand why people thought snakes were ugly or mean, I was holding something absolutely stunning and it didn't do anything to try to hurt me.

I don't know why but to me that seems to be the best and most heartfelt reason to fall in love with snakes. also that sounds like a good catch!
