Thanks Lira! They are both lovely to my eyes and so different though both normals. Brannagh is actually hard to photograph correctly. She seems to come out looking lighter than she is under normal inside lighting. She actually is the darkest of all our females. Her names means "dark beauty" and as soon as I saw it I knew that name was hers! Orlah means "golden princess" btw.

They're lovely big girls :D I never thought of letting Emily watch TV - but I guess they'd like it the same as bearded dragons do :D - they particularly adore the cartoons because of all the bright colors and fast action :D

Some of them could care less if the TV is on, others seem to focus on it a bit more. I expect it's the movement and heat coming off it. I'm not sure how a snake "sees" as far as depth, color, etc. It's also a bit me and my wacky humor attributing human actions to my critters!

We did have a big male GSD years ago that interacted with the TV LOL. If there was a show on about wolves he would run up to the TV, sit down and ever so proudly howl along with them. Very cool to see a big pure white male German Shepherd doing this...wish we had thought to take pics!

I thought Emily might like to watch (the UKers will know this one) "I'm a Celebrity get me outta here!!" I don't suppose you get it in the US but they show this bunch of celebrities "abandoned" in the jungle to live on camp for a couple of weeks surrounded by creepy crawlies, rats, mice, other insects and of course snakes - "deadly ball pythons" :eyepoppin LMAO They've got a lovely close-up video shot of a Ball coming up to the camera and he/she looks sooo sweet. (Actually I feel sorry for the bugs that have to put up with the clumsy humans)

Regarding beardies watching TV, there was a nature program on quite a while back that said it was going to show Australian wildlife (including beardies) so I perched mine on a cushion on a footstall in front of the TV so she could watch. Of course I forgot they would be showing predators to and poor lil Beady nearly crapped herself when they showed a close-up of a big hawk zooming in toward the camera. Poor thing - her beard went quite black and stayed dark for almost 20 minutes :(
