Ruari Feeding Pictures *Warning: Live Rabbit Feeding,don't read if you don't like it*

LOL never thought of a "recycling bunnies badge"! I love it!

Ken, you can come live at Camp Hiss ~n~ Slither but you get to do Rauri's dump duty and the ever popular "hold Brannagh whilst I clean her cage" duty LOL.

Actually that photo is a little misleading as the bunny is not only hunched over but also is wearing it's winter coat (these are after all meat rabbits raised in a barn not your average pet bunny living in a heated house). The breeder showed me how to better judge the realistic size by stretching the bunny out fully and we also go by it's skull size as that's different than how rats are built. We're finding that about a 4 week old bunny twice per month seems just right for Rauri, though the meat breeder grabbed the bigest of the litter this time, so a bit more chubby than usual. Seems the meat rabbit breeder is becoming a snake fanatic by association LOL.

okay i have a question... does the snake digest the fur? actually i guess he must... since i didn't see any hair in dexter's one poo he's had since he moved in here.

I've always assumed they do as I've yet to see anything in any of the snake's feces (not that I pick it apart or anything) but nothing obvious. Seems if their digestion can break down bone and teeth, then fur wouldn't be an issue but hopefully someone with tons more knowledge will chime in on this.
