Re: happy turkey day!
I hear you Jo Im over near Detroit and It is just nasty bitter cold outside. Last night while it was snowing I thought to myself "Its not too bad, not happy to see the snow, but i can at least stand to be outside for more than 5 minutes." This morning I went out to defrost my car and I thought I was going to die! 19 degrees and windy as all get out! I cant wait to move out west someday.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone I hope you all get to stuff your face as much as i do!

Re: happy turkey day!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, please take a moment to think of our troops over seas today today especially. There are some families of soldiers in my unit who got some bad news this week, soldiers I know where injured and in critical condition. Many families are spending this holiday without their loved ones, and some never will again.

Well said Heath! Were it not for their bravery and those that went before them we would not have the freedom to enjoy these holidays with our families, celebrating in whatever way we see fit. Our good friends' oldest son is leaving to start his training next month as a Marine. We're incredibly proud of Ryan but you just can't help but worry.

Ha, sounds like I got out of Chicago just in time! Happy Thanksgiving everybody. I just want to take a sec and brag about my mother. Not only did she do the whole turkey dinner for thirteen people, but she pulled out the waterford and the china and still found time to do four loads of laundry. Super woman if you ask me!
We said a little prayer before dinner and remembered the troops as well. I still have friends there and I hope to be able to see one come home soon.
Have a great turkey day!
