    Go ahead and feed in the viv. A hopper mouse can't really hurt a snake, so you should be fine to leave them alone all night. Although it probably won't last that long!! :D

    If he's so nervous and unsettled that he doesn't want to eat (or maybe is more used to eating live) I'd certainly follow this excellent advice and feed him a nice little live hopper in his enclosure. Moving him out to a seperate feeding tub then back in I would think will only stress him more.
