Ken I'm so far beyond jealous LOL! They are a lovely group of females! How very exciting to get them all at once and now start the wonderful process of raising them up to the big breeding girls they will one day be.

Hmmmm I'd go with Faith and Hope for the two pastel possible het hypo's (always good to get some vibes going on that early plus it's a funny TV show LOL).

    Congrats again!

Thanks for all the compliments folks...

I won't be putting a male pastel with the two pastel girls. They'll get the pleasure of being introduced to a Homozygous Hypo in about three years time. :) Hopefully, I'll get at least one of them to prove out! If they don't.... well... all the sibs from that clutch will be 100% het hypo :) No worries.. just another three to four years is all.

They're settling in nicely. I've changed around their cages a tad, put two small hides instead of the one medium one. They're all in hides 95% of the time, I've only found the het hypo girl out and about looking around quite a bit.

The pastels are just eye popping! All the comments about seeing a morph in person were true... the internet representations are just nothing like the real deal!

    Thanks again all!

:( No... not yet. We're waiting until the handling can start until we find personalities and names out. I think I'm going the greek goddess route.. but I dunno yet.

They're all still very shy... haven't even told me their names yet. Little buggers! They all ate well last week though, and the second feeding is upcomming... tomorrow. Two of them are in shed.. the het caramel, and one of the pastels. It'll be SOOOOO amazing to see the pastel post-shed.

Here's to hoping my Accu-Rite is reporting correct numbers, and everyone slips off their old clothes like a glove. :)

Everyone's tub is at 57%, and now that I noticed the two in blue, I misted their tubs just a tad, and it bumped up to 73%... so we'll see soon!

I'll take new pics as soon as the girls shed. And Jake's in shed too, and getting SOOO big. I'll have to get updated pics of him up soon too. He just weighed out at 590g!! And to think... he was under 120 when I first weighed him, and that was three weeks after getting him!

Just food for thought...... if a 80g baby ball hatches, and weighs 800g by the end of year one... that would be like if a 7lb baby was born, and weighed 70lbs at one year old! That's a growth spurt and a half!!

Aphrodite- (Roman Name Venus) was the goddess of love, and beauty. She was also a protector of sailors. It was said that she was born of sea-foam. Homer, on the other hand, said she was a daughter of Zeus and Dione. When the Trojan prince Paris was asked to judge which of these three olympian goddesses was the most beautiful, he chose Aphrodite over Hera and Athena

Athena (Roman name Minerva) was the the goddess of crafts and the domestic arts and also of war. Athena was originally the Great Goddess in the form of a bird. During this period, she had come to be regarded as a goddess of wisdom. Athena is the daughter of Zeus. She sprang full grown in armor from his forehead, thus had no mother. Her tree is the olive tree.

Artemis (Roman name Diana) was the goddess of the hunt. She helped women in childbirth, but also brought sudden death with her arrows. Artemis and her brother. Apollo were the children of Zeus and Leto. In some versions of their myth, Artemis was born first and helped her mother to deliver Apollo. Niobe, queen of the Thebes, once boasted that she was better than Leto because she had many children while the goddess had two

Demeter ( De-met-er) was the Goddess of agriculture. Demeter was the sister of Zeus , and the mother of Persephone. One day Persephone was gathering wild flowers in the meadow when a huge crack opened up in the earth , and Hades king of the dead, emerged from underworld . He seized Persephone and carried her off in his carriage, back down his chariot down to the underworld. While she was down there Hades forced her to marry him, so later on she decided to become queen of the underworld. Demeter was heart broken , she wandered the length and the breath of earth in search of her daughter, during the earth which time the crops withered up and were dieing of the cold weather.

Hera ( a roman name for Juno) was the goddess of marriage. Hera was the wife of Zeus and Queen of Olympians. Hera hated the hero Hercules since he was the son of husband Zeus and a mortal woman so she tried to kill him once but she failed to do so. The second time she tried to kill him she sent snakes to kill him.

maybe some of the names in all this will appeal lol. i like Persephone (pronounced per sef o nee) its nice an cute. or Artemis is a good one too.
