Same height as top of the hide,two inches to the left of it. Called manufacturer of course they are closed for the holidays. No clue when they reopen.

So you need to adjust the thermostat to limit it's output. If you lower the tstat the che will shut off. It'll just take a little tweaking to get it dialed in.
