Maybe a woma. They don’t get 7ft, my male was close to 5ft two molds ago, but they check out most of the other boxes you have. I have two one is a sweetheart. The other does the sneaky bite woma thing.

Fortunately, despite their crazy fangs, ETBs are about the least likely snake to bite you, even less so than balls, in my experience anyway.

Yea, they're super calm. You can grab right off the perch, not head shy, and you can get them for under $300. They definitely dont get near 7ft though.

Edit: though I should clarify, the ones for under $300 are probably field collected, so if you dont want to support that, youd probably need to pay more.

central american is what i was thinking initially, one of the island locales. but i feel like they lack the activeness that im looking for

They’re active occasionally just typically at night. Honestly most snakes aren’t going to be overly “active”, especially large bodied snakes. My boa will cruise around his cage occasionally and they will utilize climbing areas if provided. You could get a colony of garters if you want something active haha
Also, boas are active when you have them out. They’re much more inquisitive than ball pythons imo

yeah i know colubrids are the way to go, i have wanted a garter colony for about a year now but wouldnt work well in this enclosure i dont think, due to their love for water and knack for escaping.

i have too many conflicts of interest honestly, i want something weighty, but something thats also active and fun to watch. its unfortunate that most boas and pythons are essentially pet rocks
