Tried feeding tonight abojt 10 minutes ago .. still no luck , he strikes and seemed interested , but missed the actual rat like 3 times , bit it about 2 times but never took it . then it hissed. I guess I’ll try again next week

Hi ..
Feeding at night is a start ..
Try with dim lighting .. make sure snakey is ‘settled’ under a hide .. have the viv glass open .. and a hairdryer plugged in close by .. mouse/ rat on tongs then give it a good 5-10 second blast with the hairdryer then dangle it INSTANTLY ( whilst warm) in front of the hide entrance !!
They normally take it straight away but not always .. if there is any interest shown - even a tongue flick - you just repeat the method exactly the same way until it hopefully drags it into the hide .
