Don't feel too bad, I've accidentally wiped out hard drives(notice the 's') too. Thats why I got into the habit of physically yanking one out before messing with the installation of another. You live you learn, no biggy.

yeah but it still isnt fun ya know? i mean i total screwed up and im supposed to be the resident computer genius in or house and i figured i know so much and i totally screwed up!!!:(

im soo not in the mood for a fortune cookie (but u r making me feel better) and besides i realized at least i didnt blow anything up or melt the hardrives!
NEWS UPDATE: im chatting with the dell service guy, nice guy named PAWAN, and he says i may be able to recover it.
PS: i totally rocks to have asite wheer u can vent out ur problems and peeps listen somewhat and try to help too!:)

If it makes u feel anymore better, I've fried quite a few Motherboards, cpus, Ram and Harddrives in my life time ;)

Once, I turned on my computer and there was a big *POP* and smoke poured out of the cd drive. That was wonderful. Found out the power supply died.
