Based on your illustration it looks like the UTH thermostat probe is in the cage. Should go between the bottom of the enclosure and the UTH. Also, if the CHE and UTH are on opposite sides of the enclosure then you have two hot sides with minimal gradient on the floor?

I will lower my temps a notch and hold off on the moss for now. The ambient humidity is actually holding pretty well at 60% due to the large water bowl and CHE so I think that should be ok. Thanks for letting me know about the CHE burning out. I actually haven't heard of that so I'll order a spare just in case this one goes kaput during the quarantine period.

For the CHE I found the cheap ones off Amazon die about once every 6 months. I haven't tried brand name ones as I changed to heat tape and a rack so I only had the CHE for about 1 year.

My only thing is I try to keep Quarantine enclosures as simple as possible. Only 2 hides and a water bowl in the enclosure. And of course substrate.

Ok! Thanks for the correction. And I will move the CHE over to the same side as the UTH. Maybe that's why my temps were too high before. I appreciate the help! :)

Thanks for the advice! :) I agree, I'm going to take the decor out to monitor her health for the first weeks or so and then if things seem like they're going ok, I'll consider putting it back in for her to climb on if she wants to. I'm ok with ordering the cheap CHE bulbs from Amazon for the QT months since after QT I'll be moving her to an enclosure with a RHP. I wanted to include a CHE in the QT setup just in case its needed for fall and winter.
