It's important not to beat your self up in these situations.
If three pipped on their own then the rest of the clutch should have been able to. Unless you examine the three that didn't and they have no egg tooth to cut the shell then the reason they didn't make it is probably a congenital defect. Some times they simply don't manage to survive the transition from living in the egg to breathing on their own. :(
I know how upsetting it is but, the sad fact is, not every baby snake makes it.
If you repeat the pairing I'd definitely cut them all once the first one pips but in nature they should pip on their own.
