Awesome little snake, I'm jealous! BCI is on my list of a snake I'd love to get some day.

The best things are worth waiting for...and you'll probably do better with a BCI now than you would have before anyway. When we were kids, we were too easily
distracted & on to the "next thing", with so much to absorb.

Congrats on the new addition!

It was mine too, but I didn't get my first one until I'd kept snakes for well over 20 years and was 37 years old! It never occurred to me that I could handle them. I always pictured the huge red tails that people show on the internet, not well fed BI's that are manageable snakes.
Now I have two (a female Ghost BI, Behira, and a male dwarf BCC, Feliz) and love them.
Inquisitive, docile, beautiful, strong, and great eaters, among many traits. They are awesome pets.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Re: Got my first boa
After letting her adapt for a week I’ve started handing her a bit and I’m curious to know if it is normal for boas to rub there head against your arm like they are trying to shed? M not used to snakes with so much personality. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4cb2b78b51.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...14a2ca5df8.jpg
