Re: First pip!
Also looked back at my records, the only other male I've paired with her is my butter pastel, but that was in 2016! She didn't lay that season though.
But like I said, she laid a clutch for me last year and the banana pastel Enchi was clearly the father of that clutch. I'm stumped lol
Gonna be a long day or two waiting for them to crawl out of their eggs to ID better xD

Or is it possible they both have yb?

No yb in either of them, I contacted the breeder and he said the leopard (my boy) came from a mojave pairing. So it could be possible that he is also a mojave [emoji54]
He asked if I could send photos of them when they crawl out and I told him I will for sure [emoji4]
I'm just glad/lucky he still had the records, I bought this boy in 2015 lol!
Oh and I have 2 BELs! [emoji50]
Yay for accidental BELs [emoji16] if one is a male I'm keeping it, already have a female butter mojave BELhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7a88c0c9a1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e3c6d44726.jpg

Crazy! Maybe the non-BEL babies will provide some clues? If the male is a very low-expression Mojave Leopard, you may get a Mojave hatchy. Super curious to see what all come out.
I wouldn't rule out retained sperm from the Butter just yet. While she wasn't bred to anything in the in-between season, I have had a girl go three years after pairing and then produce a clutch. They can be very at keeping that stuff on lay-away.

The female was bred to a butter pastel in 2016, didn't produce. In 2017 I paired her with the banana Enchi pastel and produced 5 eggs, all fathered by the banana.
Sorry I that part was confusing lol words are hard sometimes lmao
