Condensation

If you have condensation, your humidity is alot higher than 65 %. More like around 100%. How are you measuring your humidity? Also sounds like your airflow is off. I have an emerald tree boa and green tree python. Both require high humidity in their enclosures. Even when I peak my humidity at 80 to 85 percent, I do not have condensation. Condensation=stagnation as far as airflow. I have never used coco fiber. I do know when I use new cypress mulch for my BP, I have to dry it out initially cause it's so moist. I do that by putting it in the oven for a bit. Anyways just my 2 cents.

Are you SURE about the accuracy of your humidity gauge? Maybe it's higher than you think...?

Where is the heat source in this viv (in relation to the vents)? and how big are the vents? & what kind of heat source? (overhead or UTH?)

Ahh, he has an uth at 32 degrees C, covers half the floor And is on the right hand side. The vent on the left is in the bottom corner and the 1 on the right is in the top corner both with a diameter of about 8-10cm (guess)

The vents sound plenty large (depending on how big the enclosure is???), so really your humidity has to be higher than you think, IMO. With vents on opposite
sides (one high & one low) you should be getting good air circulation (& not condensation).

:gj: What have you been using? If it's one of those inexpensive round stick-on things they always carry in pet stores, they're not accurate, plus they come "un-stuck"
and then can get horribly re-stuck on the snake, sometimes causing injury when ppl try to remove them. Keep all tapes & such sticky things out of snake cages...when
a snake gets under/over the heat, those things become "hot-glued" onto their skin. If that's what you've got right now, pull it out & cover any remaining sticky area with
something so the snake cannot contact it. It's not working anyway...and if you've got condensation, open up the cage for a while to help clear it out. You'll get this fixed
soon enough with a good gauge.
