    @fadingdaylight: I wouldn't be too concerned about the green blob either. I've seen my two snakes occasionally produce something similar, and am inclined to agree with Bogertophis that the coloration is just due to bile. Probably not meconium, since I'm fairly sure that's specific to mammals and only occurs soon after birth. (Only time I've seen that is during my ob/gyn and pediatrics rotations back in medical school, lol.)

    @indygunnerguy: I actually noticed from one of your other posts that you have the exact same water dish that I use, haha. I quite like that dish - it's not too high/deep, is weighty and wide-based so it's unlikely to get tipped over, is easy to wash ... and has that little entry/exit ramp that reassures my mother that my snake won't somehow drown himself because he can't get out. :rolleyes:

    Yeah I like it. The one that came in the "kit" was far too small. I bought this one immediately once I knew that it should be big enough for them to soak in. You couldn't soak a worm in that tiny thing that comes with the tank!
