absolutely! my illustration has all organs labeled and is very easy to understand. [emoji3] it was based on this specimen.
the illustration was made as a freebie to pass out at a conference our team went to, so that one will likely be the easiest thing for me to share here!
EDIT: next week ill try to make time to label the photos i posted above for you all so you know what you're looking at!

Very cool thread! I am also interested in getting hi-res photos.
By the way, that snake doesn't look like any Thamnophis sirtalis that I ever saw. Looks more like one of the North American water snakes, genus Nerodia.

i don't doubt that. the specimen was ENORMOUS, and also very VERY fat; i had a hard time believing a garter could get so big.
