    Their "fangs" are more like big teeth. They don't excrete venom from them like a cobra or a rattle snake does. They have to chew on you for quite some time to get them into your skin and then a saliva gland near the base of the teeth excretes a mild toxin. It's pretty much harmless unless you're allergic to bee stings and such.
