I really should have someone take a pic of me with one of my two big boas. They're a bit more impressive looking.. lol Darn things are so active though, they don't get the whole sitting in the shoulders thing. Especially miss dumerils.

Well most of my snakes are too short for the shoulder thing, but my roughscale sand boa is pretty good about it.

I haven't attempted it with my adult cali kings considering I still have tooth marks from the female, and the male has the unpleasant habit of musking me.

Harry the granite burm will be a good shoulder buddy, but he's a wee bit too small now.

Bellatrix the dumerils is on the floor before you can get her halfway over your shoulders.

I don't know about putting snakes around my neck unless I can see their face still. I have seen too many "very docile" snakes get spooked and latch onto someone's ear, or cheek. Nope, they stay in my hands or on the floor or wherever. LOL, I remember once my friend had his carpet python around his neck...let's just say when the cat jumped on the couch it decided to take a bite of ear lobe. Good thing it was still small enough to not take a chunk.

well my snakes are in my room(i have my own "guest house" in the backyard) and there is no other animals in there or anything that could spook them(like a cat). i completely understand where you're coming from though.
