All my snakes are in a centralized location in the house. The living room. There is TV, dogs moving around and making noise, people moving around..... etc. My animals have adjusted to the activity and are still looking with gusto on feeding day. Winter breaks aside have had no feeding issues related to the activity in the house. I do put the dogs up when I am handling them. Outside of that there is not quiet place in the house.

I did drop a mouse once and my Dane slurped it up. I had to thaw out another because that one was gone. LMAO. Sure it helps to allow them to settle. An especially shy animal might need a less traveled location to be happy. I just took the XXXX it attitude and they all adjusted to the activity of the house really well. I don't baby them when it comes to limiting activity. They are all easy to handle and I do so as much as I see fit to do. Feeding days and the day after being the exception.

I have this theory, they will adjust (in most cases) to their environment and the activity of said environment in most cases.

I have everything from retics to corns..... Love them all.

This week he came out of the hide as soon as the mouse was 2" into the tank & grabbed the mouse like he never ate before. I guess he's comfortable in his new home!
