You can check the Board of Inquiry (BOI) at http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...splay.php?f=13

I have never heard of that guy....but that does not mean that he is not a good guy.

Will availability of ball pythons decrease over the next few months due to breeding season? Im worried if i take too much time to decide what to do, i wont be able to find anything until next fall when new clutches arrive. Ive decided to start simple with albinos first. I hope to get a female het soon! Thank you everyone for your help

From what I've seen over the years, it seems like the experienced breeders hold back some stock to sell during the winter months and in the early spring ... the amateurs blow out of everything as fast as it comes out of the eggs no matter what they've gotta do to sell it.

No worries though, eggs start dropping in May and pre-ordering an animal in the spring (or earlier) gets you right at the top of the list for first/choice pick when they hatch! .... Either way you go, you'll do great!

    Hope this helps.

Thank you for the detailed response Adam. Its a great relief to not feel pressured. Ive been racking my brain with ideas and plans.

How does this sound for a plan? Buy 1 or 2 50% het albino females soon (by christmas hopefully) and get them growing. Next year, depending on how much i saved, i can buy an albino male or, if funds arent available get a 100% het albino male. 2 years later (hopefully) i can breed one or both females. With 100% het ill have a chance at proving one of the females for an inexpensive startup cost. If neather prove then at least ive produced my own 50% hets to try and proove. And in the mean time be able to sell off the males to save toward that Albino female of my dreams.
