    I was going to go a Home Depot to find something similar with a lip and some holles on the side.

    I honestly think this would be more trouble than the mirror mounts Reinz and I use.
    Reptile Basics actually now offers a mounting device for this purpose, but only for a large size hide.

    Oh that is so awesome! It’s about time. Maybe more sizes will be available if sales are good.

    I will try that on my new cages where size is applicable.
