Yeah. It can be deceiving. Here's mine so you can see size wise https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...869bb254c4.jpg

Apart from the food size would you’s say his weight is ‘ok’?

Mines at least three feet long, he’s just finished shedding on Saturday. Don’t know yours but from that pic he looks about the same.

Mine is close to being 13 months old. I think you're in the ballpark, but I'm not a expert. Once you start feeding him the proper meal, he will start jumping up in weight. My pastel lesser het gstripe is 14 months old and she's nearly 800 grams. But she's been eating small rats for a while. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...eb94387a22.jpg

Could you post a picture? I have a 5 month old male that weighs 400g but that doesn’t necessarily mean yours is underweight.

I’ve no clue what half of the morphs name mean (het, gstripe, etc) there’s loads and all are good looking.

It's not about weight at a certain age, not about feeding the biggest prey you can because the animal can take it.

It's about overall body proportion, and proper feeding, if you feed too much or too often especially with a male what you will end up with is an animal fasting to catch up.

What you are feeding right now is fine for a male, this is not a race.
