    Thanks for posting it, brother.

    No worries :)

I’ll have to start patenting these wacky ideas that work ;)

The hairdryer trick seems to have caught on well !

I've found them under hunting/fishing scales.

Often called luggage scales as well I think mine was like 15 bucks. Never thought to weigh snakes with it until now.

This is the one I use. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It runs on batteries, but you can buy a power adapter for it. I had mine of just over 3 years with zero issues so far.

I use an ordinary kitchen scale from Walmart that measures in grams.
I place the bin on it. Zero it out then place my snake in the bin.

I wanted something that would weigh both grams and up to 10 lbs - recently got this and pretty happy with it

I use an actual baby (infant) scale. I like how big the tray is and it measures in grams or lbs plus it has a memory. Probably overkill but I like it.

i used to use this one made by Taylor. it's bamboo, backlight and beautiful - but difficult to use when u have a snake on it. also it uses two large button batteries and the battery life sucks. i got it from Target.

now i use this stainless steel one from Vivarium Electronics/Reptile Basics for my BP's. very durable and uses regular AA batteries. the tray that it comes w/ flips and fits over the scale for simple storage.

Every time I see this thread title pop up I think . . "Well, I use snake scales, isn't that obvious? Snakes have scales."
