Convincing Dad to get BP

Snakes seem to have this reputation of being cunning, dangerous, and disgusting animals (many people think they're slimy!) but for most it just takes a bit of education to change their minds. I think a fear and dislike of snakes often comes from not understanding them. Like others have said, do lots of research, explain the personality of ball pythons and what their care entails, and maybe show your dad some videos of people handling ball pythons on Youtube and talking about them. I also like the idea mentioned above of getting him to meet and maybe handle a ball python in person if possible.
