It's not that hard to connect up, but you could buy the tape & connectors & a thermostat (sold separately) & have a handyman
hook it up for you. I've always done my own, but it's been a long time now...mine hasn't worn out. What I also like is that it's
low-wattage. I only have 16 snakes right now, but you don't want to know how many snakes I used to have, lol...and a house
full of Flexwatt barely dented my electric bill. But again, what kind of snakes do you want to use it for? Might not be the best
option for a BP...they need warmer temps. Also you can't use it IN a cage, it must be underneath ("UTH") so you also wouldn't
use it under a wood cage, for example....the wood is an insulator & would not allow the heat to rise into the cage enough. It
works great under glass tanks, which is my preference for what I keep. It also works under plastic/PVC cages (which I don't like
    or use).

Try googling for a YouTube video on hooking it up...they're around, I'm sure. Not "rocket science" at all.

Is this for the corn snake you're looking to get? If so, it's perfect for them. Good luck @ expo! There might be someone selling heat tape there also-
easy for them to show you what to do. (trust me, I'm no electrician)

Or if you buy it online (like from Reptile Basics) call them...maybe they can sell it already connected for you? (or Bean Farm)

Here is a link to the Flexwatt website: https://flexwattheatape.com/collections/all

They sell Flexwatt heat tape, by the foot, from 2" wide to 11" wide.

The tape that you use to secure the heat tape (also called heat tape - confusing isn't it) is a matter of choice. I know that many prefer aluminum tape. Personally, I find that Gorilla tape has superior adhesion.

Lastly, here's a link to many youtube videos on the subject: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...watt+heat+tape

    Enjoy...
