    Way I do it I double food bag and chuck in warm water for a while.

    Yes, be careful not to accidentally "cook" it, and also maybe squish it a little to ensure it has been thawed all the way through! Would be yucky to bite into frozen middle part of steak, huh? :colbert:

    Something similar to this, according to prey size!. ;) With jumbo mice they usually just need a few hours at room temp (around four hours minimum). Once they’re room temp a gentle squeeze to make sure they’re not cold in the center, and a quick blast with a hair dryer.

    I defrost in the fridge. I put the prey in there the night before feeding to make sure its completely thawed the next day. Then I heat it up in hot water for 20 minutes before offering it. :)
