That's a good idea. Heating pad to warm it up?

Will do. My poor guy. I feel so bad. Hope he isn't suffering. He eats but isn't as active at night like he used to be but I have him on f/t large rats now so he just might be satisfied? When I called the vet they did say they have emergency hours if I need to get in sooner and I wanted to be like TODAY lol. But I kept my cool. I've never been there so I'm excited to see what it's like.

Another question... I have a smaller hand held cooler too. Do you think that would be to small and he would suffocate?

Impossible to know, as I'm not seeing the size of your snake compared to the size of your smaller cooler. If it's too crowded, he might be more stressed & pushing
up the lid? For my smaller snakes (corn snake or rosy boa), I'd use a "lunch size" cooler to carry them...but don't forget you need space for the hot water bottle &
maybe some more padding too? Your call...

You could pre-warm the ice chest with a heating pad too, that will work also. If you're worried about air (in the smaller one) you could put a small piece of tape in the
opening so it just doesn't close so tightly.

I'll just use my bigger one to be safe. Thank you!

The Dr did a thorough exam and I even got to listen to his heartbeat [emoji16]. He said no RI and he looks great. Slitherz did make the noise while there but the Dr didn't seem to worried. He prescribed Melcam for 7 to 10 days incase of inflammation. He also noticed he only makes the noise when going up... Like exerting himself and it's only for a millisecond. We will see if this does the trick. Important thing is he isn't in distress and pretty much has a clean bill of health.

Thanks again for all your help! http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5c25daa4...2491410390.mp4http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5c25dab7...0147640911.mp4
