    Crickets?

Those are beneath him!! I tried that once and he quickly grabbed one. Held it in his mouth for at LEAST 10 minutes while contemplating whether I was trying to poison him with that vile creature or what.

He finally put on a fine performance of choking down that disgusting thing and proceeded to ignore all others. From then on out.

He used to LOVE Dubia roaches though. Back when he would poop into (or throw down) his food dish filled with Crested Gecko Diet (no matter which kind, and I had them all, about 18 or so..) And yes, he did poop into it. Or throw it on the floor.

A few month ago he decided that Dubias weren't all that (after I spent money on buying a whole bunch more) and proceeded to eat his Crested Gecko Diet. Of course he demands his favorite mix of flavors. Or else it lands on the floor again.

Yes, I'm just his lowly servant.

    Lies, all lies!

I'm perfectly sweet, innocent and reasonable.

And I thought cats (& some small dogs) were food-tyrants...? Hahahaha! Sir Smeagol wins!

(-reptiles certainly DO have personality, as long as one isn't stunted by a closed-mind...)

If his water is more then a day old, he also dumps that dish on the floor. I kid you not. I will make pictures as proof !!

Just my luck to end up with a diva like that, hahaha.

Its a good thing I love him so much. He makes me laugh, EVERY day !!!

I think he should have his own stand up comedy gig or something. All he would have to do is walk up to the microphone and look at people. And you would already laugh!!!

And no, he doesn't hiss. But if looks could kill ..

I sure don't, but that would be cool! :D

Did you ever see that children's book based on a Green Tree python hatchling? I thought that was to cool!

I think that was one of the stories read by the local children's librarian on a day I had some snakes there to "meet & greet" the kids. She read 2 stories that day,
then the kids met some of my snakes, & after that they did crafts (on a snake theme). :snake:

I think there needs to be a Smeagol book...:D

    I think so too !!!

Maybe it shouldn't really be a kids book though. The was a lesson to be learned from the Green Tree Python.

I'm not so sure Smeagols behavior would be a good example for children, on the other hand... LOL
