Thanks for your opinion, but I do see the lesser especially in the coloration of his side patterns and flaming, which lesser doesn't always wash out in this combo, especially in contrast to the yellows on the dorsal. Additionally those steel colored eyes scream BEL complex to me.
I'm also going to trust Chun, who has been in the industry quite some time, that the morph identification is correct.
We'll also know for sure some day when he is crossed with my mojave female. ;)

AH I see. Those subtle markers may indeed be lesser. This is what I have seen and I own a GHI lesser, so I thought it might be possible that the Breeder made a mistake.

Your photo certainly does have some of this look though. A fine animal. I do see it now compared to a single Gene morph GHI. thanks!

I really can't take to those faded morphs that look as though they're permanently in shed mode !

Morphs are a tricky thing sometimes, especially when you can have two individual specimens with the same morph look that can look quite different. Once he is here I will take other photos under all manner of light and we'll get a better idea of how he actually looks.

I know the washed out sides is the favored look for these GHI/BEL complex morphs, but I personally favor the high pattern.

Congratulations on your new addition! I’m looking forward to seeing your pics. I’ve looked at the GHI as well, but keep getting drawn in by the bananas and pinstripes...though I was looking really hard at a banana GHI offered by Reptile Dynasty. I think I need to block MM.

Morph Market is a hazardous place.
