    I think I've read somewhere that if they have recently eaten it could be the bones of the rodent cracking.

    I have 2 snakes that make sounds. They have done this for years. They are healthy as a horse. I chalk it up to nose cavity. They both make the sound when blowing out it seems.

    Are they ball pythons and have they done this since you've gotten them? Sherman started about 5 months ago and I've had him for nearly a year so I'm wondering why he started then if he is healthy.
