    They were both tiny hatchlings and both got to about 5' after about 10 months then slowed down considerably..

    They were both always ravenous of course

    Well - based on the online growth information about SD & mainland retics I've seen. I would imagine that it would easily possible for a 50% SD retic to match your results with a fairly modest, weekly feeding schedule.

    A modestly fed mainland retic - can increase it weight by 550% in 6 months - if they are fed once per week - a prey which is about 25% their weight.

    A pure SD retic - would only increase it's weight about 70% during the same 6 month period, on the same feeding schedule.

    So a 50% SD retic would likely increase it's weight about 300%, on the same feeding schedule over the same period.

    A half dwarf burm - likely even more so.
