How on earth is this comfortable?
Have you tried making custom sized hides to where all four side make contact with the snake. I did and it stopped them from getting on top of the hide and the ceiling of the rack to where I had a hard time pulling the tub out. It seems your snake is telling you the hide is way to big and wants it smaller snuggy fit.

Yup, I got her smaller hides and that solved the issue. Now she has two identical smaller hides, one on each side, and spends all her time in them :)
