    I've went out and bought 2 digital thermometers and a 150w CHE, seems to have helped. Temps are now staying 80-85 cool side and 90-95 warm side. Also, Monty is doing great on the small rats. I've only been feeding him rats for 2 weeks now... been told pythons sometimes have a hard time "upgrading" from mice to rats. He's been chomping down like a pro! It's awesome. Anyways, thank you all for the advise and hopefully I can find more info here. It's nice to find a place where I can find info and others that share my choice in pets. As I'm sure most of you know, most ppl aren't keen on snakes as pets lol.

    I was looking for comparisons on growth from differrent people so I can get an idea how long it will take for my ball to grow

    well emilio, for what it's worth, Monty the 2yr old male is just under 3' (34" to be exact) the 9month old female is about 2'...
