I go to the one in Columbus every month (unless there's a game, of course :) ) In fact, I'm going this coming Saturday... anyone else???

I'm planning on going tomorrow, it'll be my first show. I don't yet have a snake but hope to shortly. I'm very excited about going and taking my son with me.

Lol... totally agree with that! Are you an Alum? I'm a student right now, one more year to go. Though, of course I'm getting football tickets for next fall ;) Michigan's coming back here!

What're you planning on getting tomorrow? My husband wants me to look for a new cage for his milksnake... and I want to drool over some dragons and crested geckos and everything else

Class of '97, College of Engineering. U? My wife is finishing up, this is her last quarter so we got tickets this season, won't be able to next year :( I still can't believe Texas got us but what a great game!
I'm not actually buying anything tomorrow, it's more of a reconaissance mission. I'm still trying to get wifey on-board with the whole "reptile in the house" thing. She's coming along slowly so I'm not going to push. Plus, it sounds like it will be a good chance to plan out my caging situation and the associated financing.

I'm an English major, business aviation minor (Crazy mix, I know, but I wanted something from both ends). And yes, the Texas game was one of the craziest of the year! Did you see last week's game? It was great, too, and I was there... we have awesome tickets this year because I'm a fourth year and my husband is a fifth year. We're like six rows up from the field at the end-zone.

You should take your wife to the show tomorrow, maybe get her to hold some animals. Most of the breeders are very cool about letting you hold something if you ask (mostly because they know once someone holds an animal, it's hard to let it go again). Maybe a dragon or a gecko or something. Or a baby BP :) It's a good time. I'm actually just going by myself... hubby has to work, and I won't have anyone pushing me to leave. It'll be nice... though I'll probably spend money I DON'T have.

It depends on the age and whatnot. You can get a normal baby BP for pretty cheap(20-30 dollars), and I'm sure they'll sex it for you if you want them to (and make sure they're captive bred and born... you can always tell because there are some people who will sell really, really cheap babies because they're farm hatched--- and it's hard to get these babies to eat).

An adult normal breedable female will run you quite a bit more: say anywhere from 200-400 dollars. You can find adult normal males for very cheap, though.

I've seen a few morphs at the shows, though there's nothing like you'll find at one of the national shows. I don't recall having seen any albino balls, but I have seen pastels and even a spider, once. And I've seen Het for albino. But these, of course, are pretty expensive. Expect to pay a pretty penny for morphs.

But most of all, go and have fun!
