No, nothing wrong. Don't get hung up on weights, all snakes are different. As long as you're feeding an apropriately sized food item every 7-10 days your fine. ;)

Monty is about 14 months old. I weighed him today and he is 513 grams. Is this an unhealthy weight. I wonder because some of yours are twice his weight and the same age.

I heard that feeding them to fast to make them grow quick for breeding was not good because it takes years off of their life. Is this true? What is a good weight for a yearling male?

you have to keep a steady schedule monty, i feed mine every saturday, he's still a baby ,for yours i'd experiment within 7-10 days, anything longer is pushing it, doesn't he get hungry and look for food? friday night and mine is cruising everywhere looking for dinner

Okay, just a couple of the larger females. I saw the pic you posted before of your big female, don't think you mentioned weight at the time.

Dex is 4 years old (born June-July 03) and weighs 910grams. He's just over 36".

He may have gotten bigger, but at one point he just refused to eat. I started with mice then worked up to small rats and one day he just wouldn't eat the rat. This was also during November-April when some people say BP can be a pain to feed. He only started eating again when I tried a mouse. Until recently he was eating 3 mice but now he's eating rats again. I just fed him 2x40g small rats, does 1x100g medium rat sound too big for him? These are frozen of course.
