I cope with summer, btw. Mere rain doesn't spoil my laps...I love to swim in the pouring rain, plus there's almost no one else in our town pool when it rains.
I'll never understand that, it's not as if you can get any wetter? I love to watch the rain drops hitting the water...it's mesmerizing. It's also fun to "torture" the
lifeguards...they put on sweatshirts & ponchos & complain that it's cold??? (that's because they're just sitting there, I guess)

Today was a weird "fall" day here...too warm! I raked & mulched leaves all day, big thrill. Not the first time, & sure won't be the last...too many huge trees in
my yard, plus neighbors have trees that share. :( Nope, not a fall-fan either. Hate being a slave to my yard, but I do love the shade my trees provide all
summer...if only they weren't so messy!

Beautiful hoss, by the way...gotta love those "perfect" days!

I don't like swimming unless the water is warm and its hot out, LOL !!!

I dont' mind some rain, but the water has to be warm. I just hate being cold. I'm cold blooded like my snakes. Whenever I touch people with my hands they always wonder if I'm clinically dead, :D

I like yard work in the spring, you get ready for LIFE. In the fall ? Bleh. Feels like getting ready for hibernation..

I am convinced that how you experience cold and hot is heavily influenced by your gender and your body mass. Women tens to be colder than men in the same place. And smaller/thinner people toend to feel colder than bigger heavier people.

The body size thing makes sense. I mean the bigger you are the more body heat you generate. I am not sure why the gender thing though. Something genetic. I know women that are...bigger...than me you wear sweaters while and sweating right next to them.

Agreeeeeed! My response to everyone’s rampant need for pumpkin spice and scarves was to deliberately spend nearly every off day in September and October at the beach😁 I like one season and that’s sunny, breezy, and 75 degrees.

I LOVE the fall. It's my favorite season. I love the temps, all the beautiful fall colors, and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I don't like it too hot and don't like cold weather at all. I'm originally from MI but living in GA for the last 17 years has been great!

Im sorry but I cant stand this weather. Its been in the 30’s at night here in NY and 40’s with rain all day for a month. Someday I’ll be south from Nov-April and NY only for summer... [emoji30][emoji30]

As a NH transplant to VA, I’m ready for fall as the summers here are UNGODLY hot and humid. At least for my northeast blood. I have a pool too, and sometimes even that brings little relief. Been 6 years, you’d think I’d be more used to it.
I don’t miss New England winter though. Not even a little.

I'm in MA. I'll take hot summers over New England winters 100 times out of 100. I may be heading south at some point too. I'm just not ready to leave my family yet. My grandfather is still going strong at 98 and I have a 4 and 1 year old neice and nephew. So I'm likely to stick around as long as he's still around and maybe a few more years of watching my neice and nephew grow up before they become butthead teenagers, hahahahhaa.
