    I tried snake didnt absorb it. Reason about damp question is i want the piece to fall off sooner rather then later. So thats why I thought in this case its unnecessary

    Better for the snake though to fall off later, not sooner.

    How long did you try? Unless the yolk was dead you should have left it alone in a small container with a damp paper towel. Now that you have tied it off, you should leave it alone in a small container with a damp paper towel. Same process. It should come off in a day couple days.

    All hatched all ate but one.
    He didnt even shed although you can definitely see he is ready
