Bit of sad news

I'm glad Josh is in the process of re-homing most of his snakes...it does sound like his focus just isn't there anyway, it will be best for his snakes (hopefully).
That's really unfortunate that a mate will be hard to come by where you are. :( Good luck on that, something will turn up.

I've seen a male for sale in Germany but it's just getting one to UK, think they a pretty rare locality most places now

Well, you did absolutely all you could and you should feel good about that. I wonder what kind of enviornment and husbandry was afforded to the reptile when he was with the original owner.
