    Yep that will do it. If he's resting on it he's also sandwhiching the thermometer probe closer to the heat source. So that plus trapping heat under his body/around the probe, it isn't surprising the temp reading rose a bit. One of the reasons I prefer temp guns :p

    Thanks I use both probe and temp gun, when i can find my temp gun.
