    From what I know the difference is fairly marginal. From this article it sounds like there is a slight difference in the fat vs. protein area, but it's a small one. Lazier snakes like BPs would get more use out of the protein than the fat presumably. I wouldn't be surprised if that difference in nutrition varies by breeder though and what they feed, so some breeders could in theory have mice with more protein and rats with more fat.
