Of course, that's not without it's issues as well. Behira, my female Ghost BCI, will hit the acrylic doors on her tank in anticipation of a juicy rat, whether it's feeding time or not. At feeding time I usually get at least one door hit before I can get the darn rat in there for her to nail.....

I had a large BCI for many years, definitely "fun" to feed, trying to open the cage fast enough to get her rat in without her flying out- but my large Florida rat snakes
are much the same, just less body weight. (Keeps me on my toes.) I also have a "tiny" Australian spotted python whose appetite rivals the food drive of a large boa,
& I'm so happy she's small! My corn snakes & Trans Pecos rat snakes are so polite by comparison, but none of them turn down food either.
