You can get a digital unit that does both temp and humidity for around $10 - $15.

Between 50% - 60% is good for humidity or you could use a humid hide during shed time.

I think I saw it for around twenty. Walmart has really tiny digital ones, like the one above but half the size. They are only five or six dollars, which is cool because you can buy one for each side for half the price. They measure humidity too. :)
