Then mama bear put down the hammer til she got new living quarters. Now that that's done she took the leash off this wolf. Last night she actually showed me how one of the extra closets could be converted into a smaller critter room. All I need is to add an electrical outlet or two. It's roughly 7x5 so that means I can get a couple of 6 foot cages on one wall and some 4 foot cages on the other. I won't go crazy but that means there's room for one more critter I've had my eyes on. Especially since I came in a little under budget for what I was prepared to spend on a BHP. The way I see it is I can get 3 snakes for the price of one. Either way I'm maxed out on critters after that. Then it's all about caging.

That's awesome!! I'm super happy for you! ...and will be waiting patiently to see what your "last" will be.

^5 @ Piper- Congrats on the Olive Python. I can almost guarantee you're going to LOVE it. I told my Olive that he may not be the biggest/baddest beastie in the house anymore. He looks at me like, "we'll see about that."I like animals that command a slightly higher level of caution and respect.

@ All- check out this cool video. I'll make something similar one day even though my scrub is from Indonesia. :)

Congrats on the pickup. One of the most beautiful pythons around in my opinion.

    You best update that signature!!!

As far as the olive python goes - he's already proven to be quite a firecracker! Gentle and tame outside on my arm, but inside his enclosure, I better be using a hook/tongs. I love him dearly on day 2, so I imagine this will be a great friendship.

As soon as all critters arrive alive (:please:) in T minus 24 hours I will be updating my signature :). Still haven't decided on names for either of my new critters yet but I've got a couple in mind.
