I hadn't read this reply til just now. Please don't do this, it's simply not worth the risk. There are MUCH safer ways to go about removing stuck eye caps if that's what's really going on with your snake.
Snakes eyes are much too sensitive for this to be an option. Tape and snakes don't mix, period.

Some tape is bladdy sticky .... get it wrong and you could pull the eye ball right out of its socket as mentioned ..

Best and safest quick fix is to soak for 30 minutes ( read up on soaking methods ) then have a wet , rough textured towel ready and let the snake slither inside the towel for about 5 to 10 minutes ... when it's head pops out just cover it with the loose end of the towel and carry on .. Whist it's in there apply pressure , very very gently to the eye /head areas and the eye caps will generally come off safely on the towel ..

Thanks for pointing that out Zinc, I'm surprised nobody else did before you got to it. I wish I saw it earlier. Let's hope OP doesn't have a one-eyed snake because they followed that advice.

Yikes. I...dont recommend. Snakes and tape never mix. I recommend the other advice given on this thread, but certainly not this one
