Yep. I probably didn't explain it great before. My dog being around means he's behind a baby gate (being watched over by someone else) that keeps him from getting close while I'm handling her (across the house). Otherwise the noodle is in her tank out of his reach. When I say they can't reach each other and they get along great, I mean it's very impossible for them to come in contact and they ignore each other despite sometimes being able to see one another. I had rats before and it's a very similar protocol. I know better than to take risks and love them both a lot.

It's definitely a bit odd having a pet that I feed rats to now, despite having rats before and being very attached to them. I think the biggest thing for me is that snakes live to be so much older than most pets and I just couldn't handle the short life span my furry little rat buddies had.
