    Could a thermostated uth be beneficial for nighttime temperature drops? Where I am the day temps are low to mid 80s but at night they are still dropping to the high 40s, low 50s, don't know if you are the same...If it were on a t-stat it would only come on in case anyway.

    I'm not sure how the summer will go. It stayed consistently hot all night - however I do have a Herpestat with a UTH that I normally use! I wasn't prepared for this kind of Heat, it's supposed to be a record year apparently.

    86 is fine, but about the highest I would let the room get. If it gets 88 or hotter, then you need to set up some air conditioning. If they can’t cool off anywhere in the enclosure, you may have problems.
